For banking and finance, Merryvent supplies branded advent calendars from 50 pcs (stock calendar with printed sleeve), hampers from 25 pcs and chocolate Santas from 500 pcs, with written specifications for gift-register records. Delivery to branches, offices or home addresses worldwide. Gift policy questions are for your compliance team; this is not legal advice.
Who buys, and what they need
In financial services the gift budget is usually split between HR (employee gifts for head office and branches), marketing or relationship management (client and intermediary gifts) and executive assistants (a short list of board-level partners). Procurement often runs the supplier selection and asks for a written quote, company documents and a clear specification.
What they have in common is a need for gifts that look considered but never lavish. Many institutions keep a gift register and set internal value thresholds for gifts given and received. A branded calendar or a compact hamper fits that logic better than luxury goods.
Typical constraints in finance
| Gift value | Internal thresholds per recipient are common; we propose formats within your stated band |
|---|---|
| Documentation | Written quote and specification per item, useful for gift-register entries |
| Consistency | One design across countries and business lines, approved once |
| Recipients | Clients, intermediaries, branch staff, head-office teams |
| Alcohol | Often avoided for client gifts; alcohol-free hampers are a standard option |
| Data | Address lists processed under GDPR; DPA on request; data deleted after delivery |
Formats that tend to fit
Example program
For example, a retail bank might give every branch employee a chocolate advent calendar delivered in bulk to each branch, send relationship clients a tea calendar with a printed sleeve and a personal card, and order a small number of premium hampers for institutional partners through the Executive program. One artwork approval covers all three, and the written specification records content and composition for each item.
Value thresholds and gift registers are a matter for your compliance team. Our page on gift policies and anti-bribery rules gives general background, and the gift limits guide covers tax-related limits in several countries (neither is legal or tax advice).
Delivery to branches and homes
Gifts can go in bulk to one or several offices, or to individual home addresses from a CSV or Excel list, worldwide. Personalization, packing and dispatch take place in Poland. Within the EU there are no customs formalities; outside the EU, we deliver DDP (duties and import VAT prepaid and quoted in advance) to every country where shipping is possible.
