Merryvent payment terms: a prepayment of at least 50% with the order, paid by bank transfer against a proforma invoice, and the balance before dispatch. Invoices are issued in PLN, EUR or USD. Deferred payment and invoice terms after delivery are not offered. The terms are stated in every quote.
Why we work with prepayment
A corporate gift order often involves goods made for one customer only: calendars printed with your artwork, boxes in your colours, teddies embroidered with your logo. Once produced, they cannot be sold to anyone else. At the same time, finance teams at larger companies often have standard payment runs and approval workflows.
That is why one clear rule applies to every order: at least 50% with the order, the balance before dispatch, stated in the written quote before you confirm. If your company has a mandatory approval process, tell us at the brief stage so the proforma can be issued early.
How payment works
The same terms apply to every order, paid by bank transfer.
Why prepayment, and what to plan for
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Custom production | Items made with your artwork cannot be resold, so production starts after the prepayment |
| Lead time | Short seasonal deadlines leave little room for long approval and payment cycles |
| Internal approval | If your approval or payment run takes time, ask for the proforma early |
| Destination | Non-EU deliveries are DDP: duties and import VAT are quoted in advance as part of the order |
The terms that apply to your order are those stated in your quote or contract.
Plan payment into the season timetable
Seasonal gifts have fixed dates: advent calendars must arrive before 1 December, Christmas gifts before the office closes. For Christmas 2026, stock calendars ship by about 20 November, and hampers should be ordered by about 1 December for EU delivery on 15–18 December. If your internal approval or payment run takes two or three weeks, build that into the plan, or ask for a proforma early so approval can run in parallel with artwork. See order deadlines.
For season 2027, fully custom calendars are ordered January–August 2027, with early-bird pricing for orders confirmed by 31 March 2027. Early orders also give your finance team more time to plan the prepayment and the balance within your budget year.
